6:00 pm Operation Kabul movie by Zsombor Dyga, Hungary, 2025. 1 h 39 min, Operation Kabul is a 2025 Hungarian war action drama based on a true story, depicting the dramatic escape of Hungarian soldiers and civilians from Kabul Airport. The film is set during the 2021 collapse of Afghanistan, with a brave female doctor’s rescue at the center of the story. The film has spoken Hungarian with English subtitles

12:00 pm Merry Go Round is a landmark 1956 Hungarian romantic drama film directed by Zoltán Fábri. It is widely considered one of the masterpieces of Hungarian cinema. The story takes place in a rural area of Hungary. There are two young people who fall in love with each other. However, the girl's father wants her to marry someone else. But surprisingly this classic love story intertwines with traditional, political and economic choices. The film has spoken Hungarian with English subtitles.

2:00 pm a Hungarian immigrant family in the late 1990s who move to Vancouver Island. The story, told from the perspective of young daughter Sasha, focuses on the family’s struggle with their oldest son, Jeremy, whose increasingly erratic and dangerous behavior threatens their stability and sparks a meditation on memory, grief, and family bonds. The film has spoken English and Hungarian with English subtitles for Hungarian dialogue.

Two students travel to a Transylvanian wedding in the 1980's, where a risky scheme turns into true love, set against the vibrant music and dance of Hungary's living folk traditions. The movie is in Hungarian with English subtitles

2:00 In Praise of Older Women (1978) is a Canadian drama produced by Robert Lantos and directed by George Kaczender, based on Stephen Vizinczey's novel. It follows András Vayda (Tom Berenger) and his romantic encounters with older women in post-WWII Hungary and Canada. The film launched Lantos’s career and is recognized for its controversial, sexual, and "soft-core" nature at the time of its release. The movie is in English with Hungarian subtitles
